About Me

Jonathan was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Dallas/Fort-Worth area in Texas. He graduated from Tarrant County College Interpreting Training Program in 2018 with a Sign Language Interpreting associates degree. Jonathan holds an Advanced Certification in American Sign Language interpreting from the Board for Evaluation of Interpreters.

He attends the University of Texas at Arlington studying Linguistics, BA, and a double minor in ASL/Deaf Studies and Spanish Linguistics. His passion is to uplift marginalized communities and mentor, coach and educate aspiring interpreters.

Jonathan enjoys spending leisure time gardening, doing yoga, reading (too many books at once), going to social events, and working out.
